Airline Travel: Before and After

Gone were the days wherein airline traveling was not strict where you can just go in and out of the departure and arrival areas without showing Identification cards that strict or undergo heavy human and machine inspections. After the September 11 incident, airline traveling was never the same again. Presently, traveling on air requires you to put off all things attached on the body including wristwatches, purses and shoes. There will come a time wherein all airline passengers will be required to put off their clothes and nothing will be left off.

How To Kill Lice

When I was a small child I used to have lice in my hair which I inherited from my playmates who had lice of their own heads, too. My grandma killed my lice by conducting a "lice killing session." She applied cooking gas in my head, combed my hair with a "sulod" a kind of comb made to sweep lice off the hair. She rolled a 200 liter beverage bottle on a white paper with all the lice in it to kill the lice. After the "session" my grandma would shampoo my hair thoroughly. In a couple of days, all my lice were gone.

My Favorite Place

My bedroom is my favorite place in the house because most times I am inside my bedroom just lying on my bed where most of my activities for the next day and planning for my future are made, because the silence in the bedroom is such deafening that it is conducive place to deep thinking. My bedroom is also my workplace where I do most of my writing. Someday I hope to have my own house where I have my very own
haven, my bedroom.

Food Pantry

Pantry is where dry foods are stored and kept. I had been to a lot of homes and seen different sizes of pantries. One house male owner whose pantry was filled with bottled spices and a box of sugar free cookies was all I found, just fine. Another was full of health food kinds, well and good. Still another, who’s pantry was empty! But too ironic because he is fat and big bellied! Now, that’s too bad. Whatever foodstuff you put in your pantry tells the kind of an eater you are. As they say-"you are what you eat.

Feeling In Love

Almost everyone who experienced being in love will agree that the feeling is indescribable when one is in love. Everything you see around is beautiful even if in truth not. You seem to not have a place to put your happy feeling when you’re in love. It’s just like a stream of water finding its way to nowhere. I am sitting here, wondering what to add on because I can’t think of anything this moment except stare at the picture of my handsome boyfriend, feeling as if I’m in cloud nine. Yes darling! You’re right, am too, I’m in love.

Meant To Be Broken Or Fulfilled

Everyday in our daily interaction with people we tell something to them and we agree. But there's something we do when we want something from the other person and that’s when we give our promise. But alas! everytime we promise we can hardly fulfill them. Are promises difficult to fulfill? or are promises really meant to be broken?

As Form Of Exchange

Who ever thought of money as form of exchange in return for goods ought and services rendered? Everywhere we go we pay money in everything we do. What will it be like if we don’t use money or any form of exchange when we purchase things? Maybe, this world will be a better place to live. What do you think?

Drink Up!

This summer or hot weather makes you more aware of your need for fluids. But did you know you need as much water in cold weather as you do when it’s hot? Remember to drink at least 8-ounces serving of water per day. Early signs that you’re getting dehydrated include dry, itchy skin, and an increase in headaches.
