Importance of Bed Time Stories

I tried to compare my two daughters in terms of their development and I noticed that my second daughter still can’t talk properly at her age when my first daughter already can talk properly when her age was just the same as my second daughter today. I tried to find out the possible reason behind it. And I have read that for a child to easily learn how to talk, parents should always tell their children bed time stories. And that I think is where my mistake is. I remember that my husband and I used to sing our first child to sleep diligently. But that diligence faded when our second baby arrived. Maybe it’s high time that we revive that diligence.
