Appreciate Farming

In the Philippines, most farmers are not the owners of the land that they cultivate. Unlike here in the US where the farmers are the owners of their land and therefore, rich men. Filipino farmers are usually unappreciated. Some people even look down at them because most of these farmers belongs to the lower class citizens. In short, they’re just slaves of the landlords. But me, personally, I really do appreciate these farmers for I value the fruits of their labor. Let’s all remember that without them, maybe, we could not eat the crops and the vegetables that are sold in the markets. I could testify because I was able to experience being a farmer for two days.
