Confidence

When I was still young, it fascinated me. How could TV newscasters deliver their lines so confidently, scarcely blinking while staring at the camera? I didn’t think I could ever do that. What if I forgot my lines?

But then, I discovered their secret. It’s true that these newscasters prepare well for their features, but they are also aided by a gadget which looks like a TV monitor attached to the camera. Through this, the text they need to read is flashed. And I found out that singers do the same thing. What a smart way to gain confidence, I thought. Still, anything could happen to this gadget. If it fail, then what do they do?
