Phelps’ Sets New Record

Michael Phelps grabbed his 8th gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He already exceeded the gratest American swimmer, Mark Spitz’, record which is only 6 gold medals. This is another pride of the united states . His consecutive gold medals increases US’s chances of being the over-all champion in the Beijing Olympics. So far, Phelps is the most talked about American athlete in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
