Funny, at age thirteen I did not know how to send letters by mail. The first time I sent a letter to a friend I put my letter in a white envelope then later I put it again in a second envelope to be sure no one reads it. My nanny laughed at me, later she taught me to put my letter in just one envelope and said, that would be safe and fine.

Thru my friend’s job in a gazette firm she met a movie star-turned model in her time, Ms.Barbara McQueen, the former wife of deceased US movie actor, Steve McQueen. Her employer had her posed with Ms. McQueen for a photo shot. She was all smiles when they posed together. The next day, my friend was shocked to see her face beside Ms. McQueen that landed in the front pages of their newspaper. Those were the works of her employer and office staff—they surprised her to no end.

Counting your blessings promotes good physical health, according to a study by some US doctors. Volunteers who kept weekly gratitude journals reported fewer aches and pains than those who recorded daily hassles or neutral events.
A “gratitude visit” was developed by Dr. Martin E. P. Seligman to promote strong emotional health. He tells people to think of someone who has made an important difference in their lives. He asks them to write the story of how that person has helped them, and then to visit that person and read the story aloud. Tests show that a year later the people who had done sow ere happier and reported fewer episodes of depression. Even more important, think of what it must have done for those who were thanked!
